Me... after cleaning out my refrigerator today!!

These cute people are my motivation to continue making small changes daily. I love the good mood I'm in after dejunking. The positivity carries over into other aspects of my life and onto this family that I love so much.

I feel that making small daily changes of decluttering and being more organized has carried over into other aspects of my life, such as food. I feel more motivated to organize dinners and I find that I am craving and cooking healthier meals. It's a very interesting and welcomed effect of dejunking.

This is a picture that my thirteen year old daughter drew. It reminds me of how I feel anytime I open a closet door in my house. I just never know what kind of scary mess I'm going to find inside. I have discovered through this process, however, that decluttering a small bit at a time truly adds up and isn't overwhelming.

This quote is a beautiful way of stating how I feel after having dejunked parts of my home over the last few weeks. What a wonderful experience so far and I plan on continuing this journey.
 Soooo.........Junk beware!!!!!

Motivation.

I have a ridiculously large book collection and typically the shelves they are on are a crazy, unorganized mess. I spent a half hour two days ago straightening this sucker up and I'm super happy with the way it turned out. I then went on to plan out dinner and get prepared to make it. I really think the dejunking process is helping me think in a more organized way in general. I love making these fun connections!!

My mantel used to feel a little busy and cluttered. I had a few moments to myself the other day and instead of watching tv or playing on my phone; I dejunked my mantel and it felt amazing! I could stare at it all day but I won't...I'll declutter something else!

This is a picture I took while camping last summer. I love to camp and I'm starting to think the part of my affection for it is how simple everything has to be. I usually only bring the necessities and it makes life refreshing!!

I have found that I think more clearly on the days I organize something, no matter how small.

I found a few boxes of old photos last week and organized them by dates. I loved the accomplished feeling afterward and I found a few fun pictures while I was at it!
